Are you interested in making London better for the people who live here?
Centre for London is a charity focused on London’s critical challenges. We identify things that aren’t working, research ways to improve them, and then speak with decision makers to persuade them to make the changes necessary to make London better. This could be relating to where people live, how we move around the city, the work Londoners do and the training, opportunities and pay they get, and the way London connects with other areas of the UK.
We have two placements available – with our research and events teams. Through these opportunities you will gain a better understanding of how decisions are made about London, as well as learning about working in a charity. You don’t have to already know about research or London policy – though some understanding of would be helpful – but you will need to have an interest in London, to be able to learn quickly.
These roles are for 25 hours/week and is paid at the London Living Wage (£10.75/hour). The position is available for six months, or as long as the Kickstart scheme is available.
Please note – these placements are only available to people who are 18 to 24 years old and who are on Universal Credit. To apply please contact your local Job Centre Plus and speak with your work coach to be referred to the position. You cannot apply directly to us for this role.
