Working at Centre for London

Our history and structure

Centre for London was established in 2011 and is led by Chief Executive Nick Bowes. Our work is founded on a belief in the power of new, long-term, independent, and evidence-based thinking to help solve London’s problems and achieve our vision for the capital. We believe it is better to invest in evidence, policy, and strategic thinking, rather than have to pay the costs that result from their absence.

Our most recent annual report has detailed information about our achievements and impact.

Centre for London’s active and lively Board of Trustees is led by Fiona Fletcher-Smith, who became Chair in June 2016.
