A series of digital events providing insights on London’s practical and policy responses to the coronavirus crisis.
This new event series will provide new perspectives on the coronavirus crisis, by exploring how specific sectors and organisations are responding.
Featuring interviews with sector leaders and frontline workers, we’ll hear about people’s personal experiences, professional responses, information and support needs. We will also be sharing examples of good news, resilience and adaptability.
All events will be hosted on Zoom and open to the public. They will be listed on our website and Eventbrite.
We are planning to cover the following topics:
Councils on the frontline – exploring the pressures on London’s boroughs and public services
Transport – how is the crisis affecting travel patterns and how should the Mayor and boroughs respond?
Housing – what support do struggling renters and homeless households need?
Earners – how can we better support jobless, low income and insecure workers?
Gender – how is the crisis affecting London’s women in particular?
Older Londoners – what can we do to combat isolation, housing and improve care for London’s older people?
