Nikita was Senior Researcher at Centre for London until November 2021. She joined the Centre in 2020 and has co-authored publications on housing for older Londoners and public involvement in planningBefore joining Centre for London, Nikita was a Research and Policy Intern for the Strength through Diversity Team at the OECD. She has also previously worked for NETRIGHT, a network of women’s rights organisations in Ghana  Nikita has a masters degree in human rights and humanitarian action and her interests include gender, inequality and social and environmental justice. In her spare time, she likes to nap, dance and overstay her welcome in bookstores.

What do you love about London?
I love that London feels like home to so many different people, who shape the city as much as they are influenced by it. 

What would you change about London if you could?
If I could change one thing about London, it would be to make it a more affordable city to live in.
