A note from Centre for London’s Director
While no-one knows how Brexit will play out, it is transforming the UK’s political, policy and economic landscape – with profound implications for London. The need for independent, long-term and joined-up thinking for the capital has never been greater.
Today Centre for London launches its new strategic priorities. We’re re-focusing our work on four interlinked research programmes to tackle the city’s critical challenges and ensure that London is in the best possible position in the face of Brexit.
It is four years since Centre for London was founded as a charity and in these short years we have come to play a unique role. Our first annual report, also published today, highlights some of the ways we have helped the capital.
We are immensely grateful to the individuals and organisations who have supported us so far, and we look forward to continuing to work together as we strive to build a fair and prosperous global capital.
