Game Changing Tweets: The Role of Social Media in the 2016 London Mayoral Election

This event has already taken place.

With less than a month to go until the 2016 London Mayoral Election, Centre for London and the Centre for Analysis of Social Media (CASM) at Demos are teaming up to look at how the election is playing out on social media, adding new insight into how the candidates are performing.

Since February we have been looking to collect every tweet sent to and from every candidate and subjecting these to a wide range of analyses each week. You can read the first in our series of blog posts on the findings here.

Join us on 4 May when we’ll be analysing the key moments of the election, looking into the issues which are most talked about and comparing Zac and Sadiq’s campaigns.

Take part in the online conversation using #DigiMayor. Find our live tweets during the event at @centreforlondon and @Demos. You can read the first installment of our analysis on CityMetric.
