Partner Forum: Post-mayoral Election Analysis

On 6th May Londoners will head to the polls to elect a mayor and 25 Assembly members. It has been an unusual election: a 12-month delay, an unprecedented 20 mayoral candidates, and a city tentatively coming back to life. Beyond the winner, what might the results tell us?

Jenna Goldberg is Board Director at London Communications Agency. She advises developers, councils, RPs and others on major London projects. She is editor of weekly news bulletin LDN – London in short, and leads the LCA research team, ensuring they are one step ahead when it comes to the politics, news and issues that affect their clients.

Professor Tony Travers is Director of LSE London and a Visiting Professor in LSE Department of Government. His interests include local and regional government, he has published a number of books on cities and government, and also broadcasts and writes for the national press.
