Expo 2025: Should London Bid?

This event has already taken place.

International Expos, held once every five years, are the most important and well-attended business and cultural fairs in the world, but host cities are expected to invest heavily in them.

With business groups arguing that London should bid for the 2025 Expo, Centre for London will be holding a public discussion looking at the pros and cons of a London bid. How should London pitch itself? What are the chances a London bid will succeed? What would the costs and benefits be to the capital?
