Does London Need a Hub Airport?

This event has already taken place.

With politicians and the public sharply divided over the future of London’s airports, Centre for London is hosting a debate on whether London needs a single hub airport, or whether increased demand for travel can be met across a number of airports.

The event will bring together representatives of Heathrow, who will be presenting the conclusions of their ‘One Hub or None’ report, London local government and independent experts for an informed discussion on one of the most difficult and contested issues facing the capital.

Among those offering independent responses will be Michael Burns, Corporate Finance Aviation lead at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Chris Roberts, Leader of Greenwich Council and Executive Member for Infrastructure and Economy at London Councils.

This event has been generously supported by Heathrow.
